Hihi gals!!!

today marks our 1st yr anniversary of arriving on aussieland! (not for me but for most pple but mine's just 2 days later)

so i guess i have to say i'm really really grateful that all of u were there for me.

we laughed tgt. we ate tgt. we studied tgt. we exercised (minimal though) tgt. we craved (heavens!) tgt. we watched tv tgt. we cried tgt. we did lotsa things tgt!

i'm really glad i was there. a lot of my friends seemed to always ask me whether i ever regretted studying overseas, being so far away from my family and friends. i guess absence makes the heart grow fonder. i grew to treasure my family and friends more, grew to appreciate them more. yet, this opportunity out of my comfort zone (act not that uncomfortable at all!) made me learn a lot more things (eg. cooking!) and most importantly! i found new friends! new friends that i'm sure 30yrs down e road, we'll still laugh ourselves silly over things like "GOY" "lalulalu" "wo bu tiao shi" "wo hen bu understand" "(the food) melts in your mouth, the texture a little bouncy etc"

n meeting u guys after such a long summer break at singsoc bbq that day made me look forward to living with u guys in aust! look forward to all the road trips that we'll have!
