We wouldn't want to eat fried egg that we know have a bit of rotten bits inside, like if we were to stir fry 1000 eggs, 999 good and 1 rotten, we wouldn't want to accept it cos it's so yuck and gross....
I actually said that because I wanted to say that God is so holy and pure and righteous that a little bit of our sin, our turning back from Him is not good in His eyes and He wouldn't accept it. YET He loves us so much that He wants to accept us. So when justice and loves comes into conflict, God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, so that while He is just and punishes our sins, He saves us from the punishment and allows us to have a relationship with Him. Then He gives us the Holy Spirit to learn to lead a life that we ought to lead. We still fail, I still sin, but the Holy Spirit's teaching me.. :)
What do we get for eating the egg?
Nothing.
What does God get from us today,
when He has already sent us His Son and die for us and all we have to do is to accept the gift....?
